I came back to Malaysia for CNY, wasn’t here in KL last year, was in London chilling with Paipin, Weimiin, Congjun and a few other friends. So this year. I’m back and Elaine was back as well. Haven’t celebrated CNY with the whole family for a while.

Did the usual, 2 reunion dinners, once with mom’s side, another wiht dad’s side. Then on the frist and second day of CNY, we had both meals wiht the family. This year was a little different though, we tried to keep it as simple as possible even in terms of the food. Didn’t necessarily eat CNY food. On the second day we even had roti canai and nasi lemak for lunch, and went to some ipoh coffee style cafe for dinner.

It was still CNY when I was back and as the 15th day got closer and closer, the people letting off fireworks got more and more! to the point it got pretty insane, it really felt like we were in a warzone in Afgan or somethiung lke that. Fireworks were NON-STOP…like gunfire outside the whole day.

Have been hanging out wiht this dude from the kickboxing gym quite a bit now. His name is Tiger. Yes…rawwrrr..hahaha

He’s local and pretty cool dude, so I’ve been introduced to more and more local cool places to eat and hang out.

We were in his car when this happened.:

Yep., we let this car in front of us try to do a parrellel parking…..for like….10 min…then Tiger decided to just get down and help the poor guy. hahaha

Cellini was in town for a week. I haven’t seen her in like…5-6 years. since the days of Indiana University. Apaprently she has been there for a long long time. HAHAHA…2004-2009. But now all that has paid off coz she’s working at PWC HK. probably getting paid shit tons.

Anyway, she was at Beijing for a week for work. So naturally i met up wit her!!

Last night was her last night here in Beijing, we had dinner with Tiger and 2 of her friends. Then went to this live concert that Tiger recommended. We arrived at the place nad was like…hmmm? where is it?

Tiger led us into this small little door. and inside it….was ….

holyshit so many people!! probably like 2000 people packed inside there and from outside, it looked deserted!!! insane undeground local band playing there. wiht a pretty damn strong following.
